Hunger is often referred to as a faceless enemy in communities across America; however, the Greater Hanover Red Cross believes hunger does have a face, and that face may be a neighbor, co-worker, or a child you pass on the street. Your ongoing support of the Red Cross Community Food Pantry is an essential part of helping area families in their fight against hunger.
Canned goods are needed.  Our Food Pantry inventory is dangerously low.  Help us to fight hunger today by donating canned goods, personnel care items, or a financial contribution.  Conduct a food drive at your church, office, school or organization.  Call us for more details and find out how you can help fight hunger in our community.
It takes only one can to start fighting hunger!

2008 "Hope for the Holidays" Program

Each year this community-supported program benefits area residents who are income eligible, experiencing serious health problems, or have fallen on hard times.  The "Hope For the Holidays" Program also benefits disabled veterans and seniors who are living alone with little or no family support.  We need your help to help brighten the holidays for a family in need.  Please consider adopting a family, hosting an Angel Tree at your place of business or conducting a food drive.   Please click here for more details.
