Chip In for the Red Cross Golf Classic: -- Wednesday, August 12, 2009 The Golf Committee is busy preparing for our 7th Annual "Chip In" for the Red Cross Golf Classic to be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at South Hills Golf Club in Hanover PA. Be sure to mark your calendar to be a part of this fun-filled event that has become a summer-time must. Once again this year's tournament will include airline tickets to a favorite vacation destination, fabulous door prizes, and plenty of fun, food, and friendship. Acts of Kindness Theatre Company (AOK): July 31, August 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9: Acts of Kindness Theatre Company (AOK) invites everyone to GET HOOKED on this year's blockbuster production as they present the high flying musical, PETER PAN. This fantastical show mark's AOK's 5th Anniversary and will be presented at New Oxford High School. Proceeds from Peter Pan performances will benefit the Greater Hanover Red Cross, the Adams County Unit of the Red Cross and the Adams County Arts Council. Performances will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows: July 31 , August 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9. Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:00 PM, Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. Get your family's ticket to Neverland today at the following locations:Black Rose Antique Center next to North Hanover Mall (adjacent to Forbidden City Chinese Restaurant off of Eichelberger Street); Adams County Arts Council located at 18 Carlisle St., Suite 201 in Gettysburg; Thymes Remembered located at 6385 York Rd in New Oxford; and On-line at www.adamsarts.org or www.aoktheatre.com. Tickets sold at the door will be $16 adults, $14 students/children. All tickets will be mailed within 7 days of the receipt of payment.
