For more than 90 years, the Greater Hanover Chapter has worked to keep our community safe and help families in times of crisis. The Greater Hanover Red Cross is proud to commit to helping others; others who might hurt, others who need food, others who will train to save the life of a loved one, and others who son or daughter will fight for our freedom.
The Greater Hanover Red Cross is a not-for-profit humanitarian service organization that is not a government agency and relies on the generous donations from our community. Services to the community include:
- Disaster services
- Armed Forces Emergency Services
- Health & Safety Training
- Learn to Swim Program
- Blood Services
- Family Center Program
- Veterans Assistance and Service to Military Personnel
- Emergency Financial Assistance Fund for emergency prescriptions, gas, diapers, formula, and other life essentials.
- Community Food Pantry serving 185 families a month
