Every two seconds in America, someone needs blood. Volunteer blood donations help patients being treated for accidents, surgery, and serious diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and hemophilia.  Since 1947 the Greater Hanover Chapter has played a vital role in collecting blood for patients at area hospitals including Hanover Hospital.  To make an appointment, sponsor a drive, or confirm a date and time of an upcoming blood drive, call 717- 637-3768 or 1-800-Give Life.  

Please call if you are unable to keep your appointment.  For any questions on eligibility you may call also call 1-800-272-2048, Monday through Friday, 24 hours a day.   Anyone 17 years of age, (16 years of age with parent/guardian consent) in good health, and who weighs at least 110 lbs. and has not received a tattoo in the last 12 months may safely donate blood every 56 days.  A Valid ID is Required Before Donating Blood.
